Thursday’s reports claim that Juventus could turn to Paris Saint-Germain forward Lee Kang-in if they are unable to strike a deal with Real Madrid for Brahim Diaz, but Atletico Madrid are also interested in a potential deal for the South Korea international.
Lee Kang-in could be Juventus’s Plan B if Diaz stays with Real Madrid
For several weeks, reports in Italy have claimed that Diaz is Luciano Spalletti’s preferred choice to come in and strengthen the Bianconeri attack, in addition to the need for a new centre-forward to replace Dusan Vlahovic.
Agreeing a deal for Diaz may prove difficult, though, and despite the previous reports that the Morocco international was open to the idea of a return to Serie A, the latest updates from Calciomercato.com claim that he is now minded to stay put in the Spanish capital.
If Juventus are unable to strike a deal for Diaz, then Lee Kang-in could become a viable ‘Plan B’.
Juventus are already in discussions with PSG over a potential return for centre-forward Randal Kolo Muani and it is understood that the Parisians could be tempted to listen to offers for Lee this summer given that he made just 18 starts across all competitions in 2025-26.
Lee is under contract with PSG until the summer of 2028 and earns a reported €4m per season on his current contract, which would not be out of the question for Juventus. PSG paid a fee of €22m to sign the South Korean from Mallorca in the summer of 2023.

Juventus will face stiff competition from Atletico Madrid if they do proceed in negotiations for Lee. The Spanish side reportedly have an agreement in principle on personal terms with the player, but have not got an agreement in place with PSG.
